SaaS Alerts Adds Automated Remediation for Google Workspace
While most MSP customers have standardized on Microsoft 365, many still use Google Workspace, especially in the education sector. Due to high demand from these large customers, SaaS Alerts, a cybersecurity SaaS monitoring company, spent about six months developing its Respond module to provide automated remediation capabilities for Google Workspace, which MSPs can now offer to their end customers.
Jim Lippie, SaaS Alerts CEO, told ChannelE2E that around 10% to 20% of the market uses Google Workspace. “We have partners who have tens of thousands of users in this market,” he said. Lippie estimates that about half of SaaS Alerts’ 1,100 partners have at least one Google Workspace customer.
While SaaS Alerts has always monitored Google Workspace, this marks the first time the platform is adding automated remediation through the Respond module. This module works similarly for Google Workspace as it does for Microsoft 365, locking accounts and removing all session tokens when an issue is detected.
Respond is one of three SaaS Alerts modules, alongside Manage and Report.
This addition ensures that Google Workspace users have the same level of automated security and remediation as those using Microsoft 365, enhancing overall protection and response capabilities.
